PSYCH-K® vs Belief Code: What’s the Difference?
When it comes to subconscious belief change, two of the most powerful tools I use with my clients are PSYCH-K® and the Belief Code. Both are energy healing modalities that help rewire limiting beliefs—but they approach this work in very different ways.
In this blog post, I’ll walk you through the key differences, what each modality is best suited for, and how I use them together in my sessions.

✨ What is PSYCH-K®?
PSYCH-K® is a set of simple but powerful processes—called “balances”—designed to install positive beliefs in the subconscious mind. Using muscle testing, we establish communication with the subconscious and then shift limiting beliefs or perceptions.
There are three main ways I use PSYCH-K®:
- Change your perception of a situation or condition (e.g. fear of a meeting or event).
- Install a new belief (e.g. transforming “I don’t love myself” into “I love myself”).
- Discover messages from symptoms, situations, or challenges—then install supporting beliefs.
A typical PSYCH-K® process takes just a few minutes and may involve physical postures or affirmations. It's simple, fast, and incredibly effective.

🌿 What is the Belief Code?
The Belief Code is part of the Emotion Code and Body Code system developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson and Discover Healing. It focuses on locating and releasing entire negative belief systems that are keeping you stuck.
Using muscle testing and a digital app filled with mapped-out belief systems, we identify the core negative beliefs, the imbalances feeding them (like trapped emotions), and then release them.
But we don’t stop there.
After we remove a belief system, we address the subconscious gap it leaves behind. That may involve smoothing it out (like defragmenting a computer), or planting new positive beliefs in its place—creating a new, empowered belief system.
Think of it like pulling a dandelion out from the root—and then planting a beautiful new tree in its place.

🤝 Can You Use Both?
Yes! I use both PSYCH-K® and Belief Code in my practice, depending on what the client needs. In fact, I don’t offer isolated modality sessions—I let the subconscious lead and draw from all of my tools:
- PSYCH-K®
- Emotion Code
- Body Code
- Belief Code
- Embodiment, guided meditation, or even shamanic elements
My goal is always to ask:
“What will help this client the most, in the shortest amount of time?”
And sometimes, that means combining modalities in a single session.
